I really don't know where to begin this review. This novella absolutely blew me away, Chana Porter has managed to capture so much of the human experience in such a small number of pages. The utopian world-building is honestly phenomenal, and I think if you're a fan of the Scythe series by Neal Schusterman and are looking for something similar but with more of a grown up feel, then this would be perfect for you. The only thing I disliked about this is that I'd have liked Trina and Aki's stories to have been told simultaneously rather than as two separate novellas. I'd also have liked to find out what came of Deeba, but I understand why it was not included in the book. If you get the chance to pick this book up, I highly recommend that you do. It's a real work of art and I can't wait to read more by Chana Porter.
