Historical christian read.
Centered around God and family. Life's challenges and joys. Adulthood.
Because it is set in the West and older days, there is a standard of wife stays home while husband provides, etc.
However it doesn't preach it heavily. It just talks about it to help us understand the setting in time and space. Both mentally and physically.

In truth I thought some thoughts and words were inspiring. Something to ponder on.

If the language was the same as it has been read in, cowboy like western accent, then I don't think I could have understood it as well. Listening to the audiobook helps.

Thisntime we follow Missy. She's such a loveable, strongwilled character.
She needs that for the journey she just went on with her lifepartner. Going into the unknown without your family, your circle, is frightening. Yet their faith in God and their strong, blessed, bond helped then both.

I can already predict Missy will do great things with her friends flfrom another country and language. How they will build this new growing town.
Her learning Spanish while still having the teacher's certificate can come in handy!

And how lovely to see their mariage, staying strong together and buidling their business together.

Very cute
