First - that cover! Talk about gorgeous!
Second, this one checks the boxes of a couple of my fav tropes: friends-to-lovers and boss/employee. You can also throw in sports for that matter.
I enjoyed this story all the more because the characters didn't fall into bed with one another. Their story builds and deepens throughout the pages of this book. While their chemistry is definitely off the charts, they don't just sleep together to sleep together. it takes a bit for them to take their friendship to that level and, in my mind, it makes this one all the more real. And, let's not leave out the feels... oh! The feels, sweetness, and heat. Yum-o!
