If you're looking for a light read, look again readers! I mistakenly picked up this book to quickly read through before jumping into a different story. I was baffled why this book took so long to read until I did more research and found that Into the Wilderness is nearly 1,000 pages! E-books on e-readers can be very deceiving at times...
Beyond the surprising length of this novel, Donati wrote an amazing saga in one book. It was difficult to put down. If you're looking for a lengthy read with content you can sink your teeth into, definitely pick up this story. If you enjoyed Into the Wilderness and were saddened by closing it's cover, don't despair! There is more! The Wilderness series is six books in length. I am looking forward to the next book: Dawn on a Distant Shore.
