Year Book by Seth Rogan, Seth Rogan

3.0

Yearbook was very enjoyable as a road trip audiobook, and I was hooked enough to finish the last hour and a half once I had returned home from vacay. As far as celebrity memoirs go, it’s not my favorite but, like I said, a great way to pass hours in a car. I enjoyed Rogen’s narration, and the guest stars as voices of his friends and other narrative characters. Overall, the stories Roger decided to tell seemed disjointed and unrelated, and I could have done with fewer drug-related stories (and treatises how great drugs are), but I did truly appreciate the times when Rogen got serious and sincere. It was very interesting to hear his perspective on The Interview, and celebrities encountering other celebrities are always funny stories, but hearing him retell the shenanigans from his childhood were my favorite.
