Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata

I don't know what to think of this book really. It built up so well but the ending felt anti-climatic. Apart from that, there were a few instances in this book that made me think about how humans function in a society. Especially, how almost everything we do is a way to be accepted by the people around us, to feel like we belong somewhere; our mannerisms, our dialect, the way we dress, what we eat and even how we eat. It was eye-opening to say the least. Still, I wish it could've ended in another way.
