elenap 's review for:
The Ex Hex
by Erin Sterling
This started of as a pretty chill chick-lit, then morphed into a nice Halloween-themed book with witches and a fully decorated town that reads like a movie. What I didn't expect is for it to turn into lady smut very quickly. Not my thing, but it didn't bother me that much here.
Not much to say here, to be honest. No character development, no intricate plot, just a little fun quick read about horny witches if you want to get into the Halloween spirit without any scares.
Some things were hinted at but forgotten (the ghost looked familiar but it was never explained why, where is the betrothed that caused their separation etc), the characters were underused (really thought Rhys's dad will play some sort of a role in all this), and the resolution seemed way too easy. 2.5 stars
