Epic world building. The magic system is unique. The tension between the FMC and MMC was insane. Revenge is  the overwhelming theme of the story. The FMC was severely traumatized and lost loved ones. The MMC was unaware of what was going on in his own kingdom. The internal battle of duty for revenge and the FMC heart’s feelings contradict. The unique language immersed you into the world and culture. Quite the cliffhanger at the end. I’m excited to find out what happens next. It was a bit difficult to follow at times but everything made sense at the end. Thank you so much, Daisy Florence, for providing a copy of this book.
