I read this book for a reason: to step inside the world of hopeless women who felt they had no choice but to choose an abortion. I wanted to understand. And while I didn’t agree by a long shot with all of the decisions made, I did care for the characters. And, I enjoyed the writing, for the most part.

But the string of coincidences and plot conveniences used made me knock some stars off.
