Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller

I enjoyed this one a bit more than the first one, but still not by much. I have similar complaints about this one as I did for the first one. The pacing and the characters. I did like getting to know and spend time with Alosa's crew, I think they are what helped me enjoy this one a bit more. And againn because I didn't really feel connected to Alosa and Riden, I didn't really care about their romance. Also the villain of the story didn't feel fleshed out enough for me and I didn't feel he was as threatening as he could have been. I feel it was much more tell than show in regards to him. I did like getting to know more of the siren lore in this one, I thought it was interesting. Also the world building did feel a bit stronger in this one as well. Overall, an okay read.
