This was such a lovely book. It filled my heart with so much happiness.

This was my first book my J. Saman, and I am already looking for my next. I loved that this book had no third act breakup. That is what drew me to the audiobook in the first place. I thought the way it was written, still showing that conflict but making it so communication and thinking things through took precedent really had a brilliant impact.
There were some really funny scenes, which I felt went really well with some of the more difficult/ serious topics that also feature in the story.
Don’t worry, spice fans, J. Saman has you covered with some very fun spicy scenes that worked so well with the story.
The only thing non-positive for me was the intro of the heroine’s family and who they were all connected to, I felt that might have read better than listening. But that could just be a me thing. And it was such a small thing.
Definitely a must listen.
Savannah Peachwood and Alex Kydd perform this dual narrated audiobook. Alex isn’t someone I have listened to a lot. And I struggled as best to review his portion and settled on he was fine. I won’t be rushing to listen to more, but I did finish the audio and thought the word-vomit moments were performed brilliantly. Savannah Peachwood was fantastic. I loved how she voiced the heroine and how her determination and grit really shone through.
