This novella in verse moved me to chills and teary eyes. It’s an exploration of language and humanity through the story of a dad who loses his wife, kids who lose their mother, and the crow that helps them through it. It’s weird and beautiful, disturbing and lovable. Even though I am quite different from the voices in the book, it still helped me cope with my own feelings of grief, which I think is a testament to its success. Very much worth the read.
