This was my first time reading Gaiman and it really surprised me how alike Gaiman's writing style is with Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. The main character Richard was like straight from Adams's trilogy and made me a bit confused. I still really enjoyed this book. Some awesome, fresh ideas and interesting characters (some of them quite stereotypical, but still nice).
