The stories of 3 resilient women throughout 3 different timelines and how they persevere through all the shit and abuse men put them through. It was an incredibly powerful story, but touched on a lot of difficult topics. I couldn’t get over how each POV was written in a different tense. (I get why it made sense stylistically, but I didn’t care for it.) Also a truly surprising amount of eye trauma so I hated that.
