The Cinnamon Bun Book Store

The first book in the series [b:The Pumpkin Spice Café|139391940|The Pumpkin Spice Café (Dream Harbor, #1)|Laurie Gilmore|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1688031846l/139391940._SY75_.jpg|155365079] was cute and set in fall. I assumed this would be similar but it ended up being a summer fling type of book that turns to love at the end of summer.
The first time that Hazel mentions she has "old lady" tendencies, I rolled my eyes. The second time she said she was uptight and crazy for liking having things in order, I knew this was going to be the premise of the book. Surprise, surprise. I was right. So this ends up being the uptight lady meets a laid back man, they fall in love instantly and she ends up "less uptight."
This was also insta-lust/ insta-love, which I just don't enjoy. There is a big gesture type of moment where the FMC & MMC make up (which I do enjoy even though it was obvious). I will probably listen to the rest of the books just because I want to see the other characters, hopefully I enjoy those more.
