With so many adaptions of Frankenstein I wanted to read the original story, and I now understand why it’s a classic and a book that is frequently talked about. The exploration of how we automatically judge something that doesn’t look conventional, and how constant judgement and negativity breeds that type of behaviour and creates tragedy I really enjoyed and didn’t expect.
