Complicated
This book is very very human. There are sisters with a complicated relationship, visceral depictions of trauma, all set on the back drop of a world slowly sinking due to humanity’s fuck ups. This book was about plugging the holes in a sinking ship and carrying on, until you’re faced with the reality you’ve spent all this time and energy hiding from. And what’s more human than that?
