The plot is a bit YA and there's a definite Hunger Games kinda vibe but it's extremely well written and a great read.
Dystopian future where the world is ruled by a few huge corporations. This story takes place in one city that's a literal battle ground between two of the mega-corps, Mallory is a young woman barely surviving small time gigs like shoveling snow and walking dogs and on tips from her stream playing a MMO called BestLife. When she randomly runs into one of the game's rare superstars suddenly her streaming is going gangbusters and someone wants to hire her for a bit of investigative work. Not surprisingly complications ensue.
