Beautiful. Definitely a book for those who have experienced grief. I believe Lily King is so good at explaining that complex and confusing experience. However, this is not a book with clear momentum and it's not linear. I assume that's why many do not like it. King specifically mentions she wants her books to be an "experience" and that's what I felt this was. It's not necessarily about a "crazy ending" or "intense climax," but more about empathizing with the main character, Casey, and walking in her shoes a bit. Found it to be refreshing from momentum heavy books. Don't get me wrong, I love that, but I found this to be an interesting diversion. Also, Lily King is just so good and there's so many quotes from this book I want tattooed on me. Just a goldmine. HIIIIGHLY recommend.
