The Fabric of our Souls by K.M. Moronova

5.0

This book absolutely shattered me. The characters and their backstories are so incredibly heart-wrenching and their healing is so real and true. I knew the moment I applied for the arc, this book was gonna hurt in the most beautiful way. By the end, I was sobbing. This author did such a beautiful job of writing this and I could not have loved it more if I had tried. Learning that it was based in montana where I live was a wonderful surprise. I absolutely recommend this book BUT read your trigger warnings. This book is dark. While there is spice, it's not the main focus of this book and it should not be gone into blindly *talking to my dark romance girlies* it is not for the faint of heart and the subject matter is dark and real and will resonate with the most realistic way. Liam and Wynns story is sad and gut wrenching but their love is also beautiful and their journey together is not tied together by unrealistic expectations of relationships. They are toxic. They do not always get along. They struggle to communicate. And they are beautifully broken. Enjoy but tread lightly.
