“Tuhada piyar mera ata hona vala hai”

*screams in glee* BOOOIII DID I LOVEEEE THIS. First off, brown billionaires ? YES. Sexually liberated brown billionaires ? DOUBLE YES. Strategic and intelligent brown billionaires ? TRIPLE YES. I loved the plot behind The Legal Affair, it was a lot more thrilling and twisty compared to The Takeover Effect (loved them both, nevertheless). The Punjabi terms of endearment got me wanting to cry, (ITS SO SWEET) Yet again, the Singh’s familial and brotherly bond will always hold a place in my heart. Honorary mention for Khunda, the lil flufball as well as Rafael and Brahm, the super cute slow burn couple<33

Rajneet. Strategic, strong, intelligent and courageous. I would let mommy Raj choke me and then I’d let her do it again. she’s bold, she’s successful and rich. She built herself an empire and she did it with nobody rooting for her. She is the definition of a boss bitch. I loved her strength and strategies in handling the complex situations thrown at her. I personally understand the internal cringe and fear at being vulnerable, the way she responded to everything with witty sarcasm and sharp humour was even more relatable, lol. Did I also mention her impeccable fashion sense?

Ajay. Passionate, determined, clever and dominant ;) I loved Ajay so very much. Firstly, he’s very dominant (in a caring sexy alpha way) he looked after Raj and loved it. He loves his family and holds the family legacy at the highest regard. I personally loved him the most once he started becoming a lot more calculating and bold. I loved that he took the situation into his own hands and believed that his family’s faith and support as well as his passion was all that mattered. He gets brownie points for understanding and loving a complex character like Raj.

Overall, I loved this book. While Hem and Mina were a whirlwind romance, Ajay and Raj were angsty and sexy, even with a hint of enemies-to-lovers in the beginning. Super excited for Zail’s book <3
