Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson

4.0

What can I possibly say about this that hasn't been said before? What I love most is what I've loved about Robinson's subsequent books as well--the sheer scope of them, the breadth across both time and geography, the complicated world that these people live in. They're vast yet we still experience the story at the level of the individual, seeing the real impact of such sweeping changes.
