ooops, another Emily Henry five star!
seriously though, I devoured this (I mean, it’s only the afternoon of release day) and it also made me cry. multiple times.
and it’s my new favorite of hers (I think. I love them all). it hit home more (definitely related to personally reaching the end of an era, and being more versed in changing friendships every year I am more removed from college). I’m still trying to figure out what I actually want to do with my life — hence the relatable themes and characters.
anyways, I think people should read this! I loved how important the friendships and found family were to the story, and that we got to see multiple timelines (like PWMOV). normally I’d say that second chance romance isn’t really my thing — but between Happy Place and Just My Type I think I’m starting to come around to it.
