Season's Schemings by Katie Bailey is a heartwarming strangers-to-lovers romance that will have you swooning from start to finish. Maddie and Seb's marriage of convenience blossoms into a love story that's sweet and playful, with Seb practically setting the bar as the perfect leading man. His kindness, humor, and unwavering support for Maddie made their relationship feel incredibly genuine and romantic. I could feel the love leaping off the pages!

However, one minor gripe kept this from being a perfect five star read. Toward the end, there’s mention of the play-offs a potential source of tension or resolution that was left hanging. While it didn't ruin the story, it felt like either this detail shouldn’t have been included, or it should have been explored further to enhance the plot.

Overall, this book is an absolute joy, perfect for the holiday season or any time you want to curl up with a feel-good romance.
