I enjoyed this. There is an enormous cast which became a little bit confusing, but all of the most important players were easy enough to keep track of. It was actually rather fun to hear different characters' perspectives on how something went down or to start following a brand new group, because I couldn't wait to see how everything would come together when they finally got to all meet. But I really don't know if there needed to be this many named characters, especially when so many were killed pretty soon after. Some of the main crew felt like their development was neglected as well unfortunately. We got a bit of back story but I'm not sure I knew enough about them as people to be able to say they grew or changed a lot by the end of it. I guess most of the growth was in the bonds between them and what they would do for each other having started out as strangers which was nice to see. A fun time overall though and definitely worth checking out if a supernatural western sounds up your alley. I also didn't realize there was going to be a sequel this year until I got to the preview at the end, will probably check that out.
