The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
1.0

Alison lives in a world where Vampires rule and humans are forced to be their pets and food. At the beginning of the book Alli is an unregistered and hides from the Vampires scrounging for food. Over time she is faced with the choice to die or become a vampire. She chooses to become a vampire and then most learn to be one of the things that she hates the most in life. I found the first two portions of this books very enjoyable. However, the last two were horrid especially the last one. I wanted to give up on reading this book many times but I had already invested so much time in reading it that I forced myself to do it. The climax of the book was very confusing to me and I was not able to picture the setting that it occurred in. I will not be reading any of the other books.
