Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein

a classic, a childhood favorite, a formative book for me. what is seemingly a silly book of children's poetry harbors so many fond memories of my childhood and reading poetry with my late grandfather. returning to these at a somewhat dark period in my adult life has been utterly cathartic and brought a smile to my face akin to when i would giggle reading these poems as a child. i love you shel silverstein, thank you Grandpa.
