Golden Boys by Phil Stamper
5.0
I literally inhaled this book after having a bit of trouble telling the 4 characters apart. But hey. I love the whole group of guys trying to find their ways during summer before their senior year in high school starts. The story was so authentic, so honest and it was refreshing to see an author actually bringing up struggles that Covid has left our global world with. Also, every queer representation came so naturally in this book. It didn't feel like the characters had just been placed in there to become some kind of nod or check mark for the rep itself but they actually were fleshed out with personality. An all around sweet, queer, coming-of-age summer read and just what I needed on vacation! 5 stars!
