dontmissythesereads 's review for:
Night Watcher
by Daphne Woolsoncroft
Book #124 read in 2025
The very beginning of the book was a podcast episode where a viewer calls in to Nola's show, thinking someone is in her house. From that moment, I could not put this down. I was more than a little creeped out. Especially when the creeper the caller saw was the same one Nola had encountered as a child.
Woolsoncroft delivered a perfect blend of horror and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat and made me look out the windows in the dark. After the nonstop action, the ending was a little lackluster. That being said, I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next!
