 Man you guys this was such a good read. The author is super eloquent and insightful, and her voice lends itself very well to reading with feeling and emotion which is perfect for the audiobook. She connects so well with the reader while never losing herself, and is the best at explaining how or why certain situations affect her differently. She's up front about not having all the answers, but she definitely encouraged me to look at the world around us differently. I already had some understanding of the general do's and don'ts for interacting with disabled people, but here she answers some of the embarassing questions we don't always dare to ask while always, always encouraging us to listen and investigate. Highly recommend.
