Following Mia's story was fun but also heartbreaking. I love how she did not fit into people's expectations and was amazing in her own right. I found myself liking the first half of the story more than the second. I found that when we focused on the American tour, it didn't build the character relations (romantic or otherwise) or the suspense about the other sniper. I just didn't feel the tension and it felt like we were kept at a distance. Other than the tour section, I was so captured by Mila's story.

In the authours note the quote "British Intelligence, American Steel and Soviet blood" really stuck with me and we were really shown that during the tour.
