Karr is a perfectionist when it comes to her story-telling, and it shows. Every word and every scene is carefully picked out to reveal a heart-breaking story of family trauma and the possibility of reconciliation. Beautifully redemptive, sometimes a little too explicit, Liars' Club tells of human frailty and compassion in a memorable and delightful way.
