One to Die For by Kami Cummings, Arial Burnz
3.0
This is a very quick read. It has a bit of a darker tone to it. It flows well and progresses quickly. This is a different world and because of the length we do not get a whole bunch on that. It's not entirely clear whether paranormal beings are out and accepted though at times I felt it hinted that way. This doesn't really detract from the story but just wanted to say that in case that bothers some readers. Russ is an author of vampire stories and he has made a fortune out of it, along with his persona. He puts up a facade that you are never sure if it's real or just part of the game until the end. There is a twist at the end of the story, though I had a feeling something like that was coming so it didn't blindside me. I thought it was an interesting story. The sex is explicit and takes up some of the story. This wasn't all sex though. It does play a large role because even when it's not happening, the main character thinks about it a lot.
