Okay Fellow Readers this is a transparent post. I’ve given this book 2 stars because I couldn’t finish it. Here’s why:
The author originally published on WattPad however I wasn’t able to read it while there. If you’d like to read the first few chapters for free, you can head there to get hooked. She got me. She pulled me in and promised a good story. I did pay to read on the AnyStories app.
The character development was decent. However, I tend not to read romances with under aged women. Because I didn’t know her age until a few chapters in I was like, “okay, she should be about to turn 18 and I can’t imagine the author would do a large gap.” I was wrong.
I feel like if the heroine (and her sister) were older the story would make more sense. You wouldn’t have to try to understand how she knows such technical terms seeing as her medicinal education stopped somewhere between 7-9. I say somewhere because the story changed a few times. I also felt that this should have been two books minimum.
I won’t say too much more but if you have a question please let me know. I will answer to the best of my ability with the 90 chapters I was able to finish before I gave up.
