If you're looking for grumpy/sunshine with Disney vibes, this book is for you! Trixie is the perpetually sunshine-y heroine with an affinity for animals, and Bear is her grumpy savior/landlord. But neither character is exactly how they seem, and there's a lot more depth to their personalities than what you see.
This book was slow to start for me, and for the first few chapters I really wasn't sure if I would like it. It ended up picking up quite a bit, and became the fluffy chicken-filled novel I was hoping for. Ultimately, it ended up being a good read.
