Historical fiction based on the events during WWII in Broome Australia. A coming of age story of a boy who moves to Broome after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He lives with his dad who owns a purling diving boat.
The story has action, mystery, and building friendships. This is a young adult book. It took me a little bit of time to get into it, but then I really enjoyed the history of a battle that I never knew took place and the story of the boy and his friends.
