Lowkey this book was a boring white noise sort if read. I listened to it on audio book. This book seems like a fictitious telling of the authors life or maybe a fantasy? All the side characters are stereotypes of people from the countries they are from, Germany, Morocco, India, Japan, etc.
Aurthur Less is extremely boring. I think he’s meant to be but he’s not boring the typical, “the author is writing about an ordinary person” sort of way. There is no nuance or interesting discoveries or complicated history’s of Arthur less. He is nothing. He is a gay man with a somewhat complicated relationship past and anxious avoidance tendencies. There’s the whole book right there.
I wouldn’t recommend it but at least it reminded me of how I want to travel more. So there’s that
