With The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, this fits perfectly into The Hunger Games series as a prequel. I loved getting Haymitch’s origin story, as well as some other characters that we see throughout the series. A well-written book with plenty of imagery, so I’m again excited for the potential movie that will accompany it. I would really recommend if you’re a fan of the series (but read The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes first!).
