I was super intrigued by this book. When I started it, things were fairly intense and mysterious. Even to keep me going. As things developed, I really enjoyed how unreliable and unhinged the main character, Casey, was becoming. I never really knew who to believe in this story, not Casey or anyone she interacted with. This kept things interesting for me. I also really enjoyed the portrayal of alcoholism and what it can do to you. I felt that it was handled well and contributed to Casey being unreliable. Near the end of the story, I felt like things became too much. The supernatural element to the story really threw me off. It was still interesting to read, but it took away some of my enjoyment. Overall, the story had a good ending and was entertaining. I believe that the end of the book was filled with too much happening and too many twists. I still enjoyed reading this one and will continue to try books from this author.
