Beautiful Ugly is about a writer whose wife mysteriously goes missing and he is determined to find out what has happened to her. Since her disappearance his writing has taken a major dive and he is sent to a remote island where his publisher thinks the quiet will be beneficial for his writing. As soon as he steps on the boat he starts seeing his wife everywhere and is convinced he is going crazy because no one else sees the person he is describing.
A good book but not a huge fan of the ending. Although it wasn’t rushed it felt a little half baked and isn’t the type of ending I would want to rediscover on a second read. Would recommend it but only to a specific type of reader.
