I tend to be so incredibly frustrated with myself. This was supposed to be a December read and I just keep on postponing and postponing it, without any good reason. Because I read it and I really enjoy it! There is a new mystery afoot, between the mushrooms, sobotaging a possible pregenacy and trying to appease the foreign ambasy with a dance f someone who is by now ancient. The character interactions are a lot of fun, between MaoMao and Jinshi's usual banter, though it wasn't as prevelant in this volume. There was a bigger focus on MaoMao and her female friendships, which I really enjoyed. It was a more casual volume, likely setting up all that is going to happen in the following volumes.  (my hunch was correct and that this is still fairly early on in the third light novel). Overall, once again, a good time with this series and if I quit being lazy, I will have fun with the next volume! (after I finally buy it)
