In Miracle we meet a husband and wife rabbit who long to add to their family. Unfortunately, the journey is hard and a bunny is not guaranteed. The title of the book, though, does remind readers that a miracle will happen -- they will end up with a bunny all their own whom they treasure. At the close of the book we learn this somewhat mirrors the experience the author and his wife experienced.
My only caveat would be that, while this would be a meaningful book to gift to a couple who has welcomed their own "miracle" after a difficult journey, I suggest it shouldn't be given before then (when a couple is still in the uncertain, "will it ever happen for us?" stage).
