Did not finish book.
Weird and unnecessary sex scenes, our main guy just getting randomly kidnapped left and right, the motive of the story being revealed HALFWAY THROUGH THE BOOK. 
It's giving Stephen King's Dark Tower series. 
If this is the same man that wrote Coraline I'll eat my foot.
