Again with my Made in New Jersey Tessa Bailey audiobook package... I knew this would have something to do with Hook, NJ and the factory that everyone seems to work in there, but everything else was a mystery going in!
Samantha is Hook factory owner Renner's sister by marriage. The two have a deal that if she gets married he will lend her the money to start her dream business. The only issue is that she's terrified of commitment and the guy Renner wants her to marry has been away for three years. When she found out Hudson was returning to Manhattan, she ran to Hook and almost into the arms of Duke, factory machinery mechanic. He doesn't know why he feels instantly so possessive of Sam, but he can't shake it. He's a commitment phobe too, but when he hears about Samantha's marriage dilemma, he's all in to put a ring on it.
This was decent. It kept me intrigued for a while but I think I'm getting tired of this series and I still have one more book to go! 😩 Duke was a great, hyper masculine male lead.
