As far as plot and romance go, it’s not my most favorite I’ve ever read. It was a little quick for me and felt like the story could have had so much more meat to it given the right time. However!!! Adrienne Young has an absolutely insane talent for writing characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. I only bemoan the speed of the story because I wanted more time with Bryn and Ezra. I want to know what happens next, so very desperately. It is undeniable that Young has consistently written incredible characters, and I can only hope that she will come back to the World of the Narrows one day and bring us along for the ride. Truly, my only criticism is the speed. I would have read pages and pages of falling in love and learning the cunning of the Roths. I would have read chapters upon chapters about the brotherhood between Murrow and Ezra. I just wanted more!! And I am hoping and praying that one day she will bless us with it.
