Twins by Varian Johnson, Shannon Wright

5.0

Middle school can be tough, but what about when it’s with someone who looks just like you? That’s part of the problem for twins, Francine and Maureen.

This story is such a common occurrence that all people go through at some point in their lives, whether it’s with siblings or their friends, it’s bound to happen.

I loved that there was a blended perspective. Rather than solely focusing on one twin, that same twin allowed us to see things from multiple perspectives. We could relate to most of the situations presented and were able to even think about how we could’ve handled it if it were us.

The level was not too tough, so it’d be great for middle grade readers and higher! That’s you adults
