A Brief History of Time
by Stephen Hawking
challenging
informative
slow-paced
This probably deserves 5 stars, but I’d be lying if I said I understood much of it.
Huge kudos to Hawking for “dumbing down” the material as can reasonably be expected from a theoretical physicist, and there are certainly a couple of tidbits of information that I’ll try to hold on to.
I suppose this book’s biggest accomplishment - in my eyes, at least - is that it gives me a greater appreciation for the full scope of the field of science and physics, as well as for the people who dedicate their lives to exploring it.
