After watching the brilliant fourth season finale, I just had to buy this book. Little did I know how disappointed I would be.
The didn't really feel like a cohesive story, it felt more like an prologue to a better story we may not see anytime soon. The dialogue felt unnatural and clumsy, it felt like they were just reciting lines instead of saying things like they would naturally.
The only redeeming factor would be the very talented artwork and colouring. The creative team made a good world (one I assume the more monster looking creatures come from) and the creatures that inhabited were well designed.
