The Anatomist's Wife
by Anna Lee Huber
Idc idc I LOVED THIS book. I loved Kiera as a protagonist, I loved the Scottish 1830s setting, I loved the mystery that was the entire book. I think people sometimes forget that we are meant to believe that these are people in a book, characters that remind you of other people in your life—regardless of the different time or place. I genuinely loved how fast-paced it was, because I tend to get bored after a while, not to mention the banter between Gage and Darby… it’s a nice book to read when you’re trying to get back into reading and I will surely recommend it to anyone who is trying to get back into reading as a form of escapism.
