Wow. What an adventure. I really enjoyed every minute of it.
This last book perfectly wrapped up Maximus’ adventure ever since he discovered he was a mage. But omg…the body count just kept going and there were moments that got me with a few tears here and there.
If you’re looking for romance, I know the last two had been super slow burn but this one should really satisfy you as the romance between Maximus and Simion had gotten much stronger and the bond they had was beautifully written.
With all that said, this epic fantasy was truly epic. There were so much happening and so exciting. I love it.
I do recommend not binging these books all in one go (unless that’s something you prefer) but I had to take a bit of a break in the middle because there was just a lot for me to deal with - the emotions can be too much in a short amount of time.
